This year’s Festival also presents the world premieres of three commissioned works—ballet icon Herman Cornejo reimagines the beloved Le Spectre de la Rose, choreographer Cameron sinkʷə Fraser-Monroe creates a new work for the dancers of Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet co-commissioned with Bard College Center for Indigenous Studies, and American Ballet Theatre’s Aran Bell performs a new solo by Tiler Peck co-commissioned with the Vail Dance Festival.
